Visit
the only turn-of-the-century
castle in Minneapolis!
Visit the oldest museum of Swedish-American arts, culture, and history in the United States! The ASI is housed in a 33-room Victorian-era "castle" built for Swedish newspaper publisher Swan J. Turnblad. Completed in 1908, the mansion features gorgeous hand-carved woodwork and 11 elaborate porcelain tile stoves unmatched outside Sweden.
